Summary
The Jewish Encyclopedia's article on Medina dates Muhammad's siege of the Banu Nadir to the summer of 625 and says it lasted fifteen or twenty days. They were exiled, allowed to take their goods, and settled in Khaybar and in Syria. The same encyclopedia's article on the tribe states that their estates were confiscated and that they might take only one camel-load for every three persons, and that they founded new settlements partly in Khaybar and partly in Syria, near the Banu Qaynuqa. Encyclopaedia Judaica dates this expulsion to 626.
